It's four years since Lionel Messi scored his career-defining goal
Admittedly there are plenty to choose from, but for us, this will always be Lionel Messi’s greatest ever goal.
The year was 2015 and the game was the Copa del Rey final against Athletic Bilbao.
Luis Enrique’s side had already claimed the Liga title and were preparing for the Champions League final in Berlin a few weeks later.
But in the middle was a tough test against a well-organised Athletic side.
At least, they were well-organised until Messi came along.
He netted this outrageous solo effort to give the Blaugrana a 2-1 lead and take them a step further to a historic Treble.
